
Rekai Tangwena Children’s Home, established in 2002 by the late Bishop Livingstone Nerwande of Holy Cross Fellowship Church in Nyanga, Zimbabwe, serves as a sanctuary for vulnerable children. It holds official registration with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare since 2006, operating under section 31 of the Children’s Protection and Adoption (Chapter 33).
Located about 270 km northeast of Harare and 100 km from Mutare, the home covers an expansive area of fifteen thousand square meters. It features three houses for children, an administrative office, a playground, a small vegetable garden, a fowl run, rabbit hatches, a goat pen, and a small maize field.
